Montana State's Winter Undie Run a Success
Despite below-freezing weather, nearly 100 Montana State University students stripped down to their underwear and ran around campus Friday.
The annual Undie Run is hosted by the MSU Student Alumni Association.
“It’s just a great way to bring the campus together for one of the biggest times of the year,” said Natalie Michajla, assistant director of alumni relations
The run takes place either before the homecoming game or before home Cat-Griz games.
“It’s a lot of fun,” said Michajla. “Especially when it’s for the Cat-Griz game because it’s quite a bit colder than homecoming in September.”
It was a brisk 24 degrees, and students dressed in winter coats, boots, hats and gloves stood on the sidelines shivering and cheering on the brave, nearly nude runners.
Members of the Alumni Association served hot chocolate and passed out Bobcat face masks to participants as they stripped down to their skivvies.
