Saddle up and take this two-to-three hour horseback ride in the hills around historic Virginia City, MT. Collect cards along the way and compete for the best poker hands to win prizes.
Saddle up the horses and put on your poker face! The Annual Spring Horseback Poker Ride is Saturday, May 26th in Virginia City. This year’s poker ride is sponsored by the Virginia City Area Chamber of Commerce and the Montana Heritage Commission.
Registration is at the Bale of Hay Saloon from 8:30am to 10am. Admission fee is $20.00 per rider which includes a meal after the ride. First and last card will be given at the Bale. Hang around for the night and ride in the parade on Sunday to commemorate Virginia City’s season opening or even just to see the parade. Parade pre-registration for riders will be available at the time of ride registration.
For you non-riders out there, we will also offer a Poker Walk around Virginia City.
