Community jazz festival features a different line-up nightly. Combos of top players from the University of Montana Jazz Studies Program take turns on stage, along with top-notch locals, including Jodi Marshall, Eden Atwood, Chuck Florence, Melody and Clipper Anderson, Joan Zen, Kimberlee Carlson, and many more. Highlights include a tribute to late-great jazz clarintetist Buddy DeFranco; a set by pianist extraordinaire Bob Packwood; and Canta Brazil, featuring Dexter Payne on clarinet, with a spicy concoction of bossa nova, samba, choro, and Afro-Brazilian. Food and a full bar are available.
