Our friendly and knowledgeable Docents will lead you through the museum, which captures early turn-of-the-century life as the Preston Boyd Moss family lived it. Designed by New York architect, Henry Janeway Hardenbergh, designer of the original Waldorf Astoria and Plaza Hotels, the mansion showcases original fixtures, furniture, and artifacts in the 1903 sandstone structure.
‘Deck the Halls Through the Decades’ Christmas Tree Display
Magic abounds at the Moss Mansion with seventeen trees decorated by local non-profit organizations. Guests are invited to vote for their favorite tree with the winning organizations receiving a $150 cash prize for “People’s Choice” and “Best Theme Interpretation”. Visitors will be astonished with the creativity and splendor behind this year’s exciting new theme: “Decking the Halls Through the Decades”.
