Each November the city of Helena Civic Center Advisory Board presents two annual Christmas gift shows at the Civic Center Ballroom as a fund-raising event to pay for the board’s renovations and improvements at the Civic Center. The Civic Center Board’s Christmas Gift shows have become a traditional social event for Helenans. It’s a pleasant way to spend a Saturday, browsing through the crafts, shopping for that special Christmas gift, visiting with friends and neighbors, and enjoying refreshments or lunch at the snack bar. Each show features over 80 crafters.
