Flathead River Writers Conference

Acclaimed Bozeman children’s author Kent Davis, Agatha-winning Bigfork mystery novelist Leslie Budewitz, and Whitefish filmmakers Adam Pitman and David Blair headline the annual conference. Additional presenters include Hollywood story/script consultant Barbara Schiffman, who discusses adapting a book to film, and sci-fi/fantasy novelist Monica Poole, who presents craft workshops. Two top agents, Elizabeth Wales (Seattle) and Suzanne Einstein (New York) speak, as well as review manuscript excerpts for early registrants. Attendance is limited to 100 to preserve the intimate atmosphere of the popular conference.
