The free summer concert series continues Aug. 4 with the Iguanas, a New Orleans-based premiere distiller of the continental musical melange known as jazz; Amy Helm and the Handsome Strangers; the daughter of Levon Helm is lauded as “one of Americana’s most impassioned, soul-stirring singers” by Rolling Stone Country perform Aug. 11. The DeadPhish Orchestra takes the stage Aug. 18, performing Grateful Dead and Phish songs; and the month wraps up Aug. 25 with Fruition; the Portland, Ore., quintet specializes in soul, blues and British Invasion-era pop. The Big Sky Classical Music Festival is on tap for Aug. 12-14. The Music in the Mountain series wraps up Sept. 1 with Cure for the Common, Montana’s premier progressive funk-rock dance party band.
