The Whitefish Winter Classic is an annual charity event that takes place in the resort town of Whitefish, Montana. All money raised benefit For the Children, Inc. a local non-profit organization. The mission of For the Children Inc. is to provide financial assistance to NW Montana families with pediatric medical-related costs. Each year, approximately $50,000 is given to families whose children are in need of medical treatment outside of Montana. Monies assist families with travel expenses such as transportation, lodging, and meals.\
