Veteran rock act Wilco has announced a show at the Big Sky Brewing Co. on Friday, Aug. 14.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the show will start at 7:30.
The Chicago sextet recently released two special collections in conjunction with its 20th anniversary.
"Alpha Mike Foxtrot" is a four-CD box set of rare studio and live recordings collected from the band’s extensive archives. "What’s Your 20?" is a double-disc compilation of tracks culled from the band’s previously released studio recordings.
Wilco concluded its touring for 2014 with a string of special concerts featuring diverse and ever-changing setlists, performing songs from every album and every stage of its career. Sets changed nightly and featured fan favorites as well as rarely played tracks. The Chicago Tribune called opening night of a six-night residency at Chicago’s Riviera Theatre “bold, imaginative and vibrant.”
Tickets go on sale Friday, May 1, at 10 a.m. for $38 plus applicable service charges. All ages are welcome.
