The annual Whitefish Arts Festival maintains a long tradition of high quality arts and fine crafts. Whitefish is a picturesque town in the Flathead Valley of Montana featuring beautiful lakes and majestic mountains. This event will be held at Depot Park on the corner of Spokane Avenue and Railway Street. The park is located at the base of Big Mountain, near the Bavarian style Amtrak train station, the O'Shaughnessy Cultural Arts Center, and the city library, with a water fountain and pond in the park. It is truly a 'One of a Kind' show.
Over 100 artists from around the Northwest are represented in the Whitefish Arts Festival. Metal sculptures, paintings, photography, woodworking, pottery, jewelry, clothing, custom knives, and home decorations are just some of the featured fine arts, all handmade. While shopping and viewing the unique art, visitors can also enjoy a variety of food and beverages. It features local food vendors as well as those who travel throughout the state of Montana. Customers have grown to love the fresh squeezed lemonade, hot donuts, noodle dishes, oriental food and much more.
This year's Whitefish Arts Festival will run three days. There will also be music and entertainment with community organizations and local groups. This will be the first art festival in the valley for the summer and will be one you will not want to miss.
