Montana's Third annual Girls on the Run 5k Event!

and dog (on leash and up to date with shots) friendly.

All to benefit one of Thrive's great programs!
5k START: 9am! Day of Reg and Packet Pick-up 8-8:45am
Timing: This is a fun run/walk 5k, and a 5k like no other in Montana. We celebrate all finishers as winners. For this reason we will not have official timing. We will have a large red time clock and runners are welcome to time themselves and check the big clock when you finish, but no times will be reported to the paper or other websites.
Prizes: We will have many GREAT prizes that will be raffled off at 11am. Must be present to win.
Course Map: The course is a large, scenic loop with great views of the Bridger Mountain Range between miles 1 and 2. Runners start at the community center, exit the River Rock development onto royal rd, turn right onto Wildhorse Trail, cut back into River Rock development on a trail onto E Vela Rd, take greenspace sidewalks back to the community center, and finish with a loop around River Rock Pond!
Dog Details: All dogs must be leashed and current on all their shots. No aggressive dogs or dogs in heat. There will be over 150 people, kids as well as other dogs around.
What is Girls on the Run? Girls on the Run is a transformational physical activity based positive youth development program for girls in 3rd-5th grade. The program culminates with the girls being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5k running event - open to the community. Thrive facilitates this internationally acclaimed curriculum in schools in Belgrade and Bozeman through a team of enthusiastic volunteer superstars - including coaches, event helpers and snack suppliers. Come be a part of the fun and support your local girls and families!

ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSED AS OF 6/18 at 5:30pm. Register at the community center at 8am!
PACKET PICK-UP and registration will be offered at Thrive in Bozeman on Friday June 19th 12pm-6pm.
DAY OF REGISTRATION AND PACKET PICK-UP begins at 8am at the River Rock Community Center.
START TIME: 5k walk/run starts at 9am.
PRIZES: Raffle Prizes will be drawn at 11am. Must be present to win.
