If the phrase "male a cappella group" conjures up an image of students in blue blazers, ties, and khakis singing traditional college songs on ivied campuses... think again. Straight No Chaser (SNC) are neither straight-laced nor straight-faced, but neither are they vaudeville-styel kitsch. The band has emerged as a pop phenomenon with a massive fanbase, numerous nationwide TV appearances and proven success with CD releases. The top of 2015 sees the band enjoying the success of their smash holiday single featuring Kristen Bell, "Text Me Merry Christmas." The single was a follow up to their latest recording, Under the Influence, which featured musical legends like Paul McCartney, Elton John, Jason Mraz, and Sara Bareilles among many others.
