Spring fishing derby for voracious lake trout offers anglers even more days of prize-winning possibilities. The annual event boasts up to $225,000 in prizes, bonuses and tagged lake trout. This year, anglers may also fish Tuesdays-Thursdays for tagged fish. The derby wraps up with a fish fry and awards ceremony May 15 at Blue Bay. Fish the entire lake; check stations are located at Somers, Wayfarers and Big Arm State Parks, Blue Bay, and Polson.
