Race in Montana Series, part 2: "A Black Homesteader’s Struggle." As the second presentation in our "Race in Montana" series, Phillip Burgess will use his poetry and storytelling skills to describe a black family’s experience as early settlers of Montana as they struggle to make a home for themselves and face complicated racial attitudes. The presentation will be held at Cabinet Mountain Brewing Company, 206 Mineral Avenue in Libby at 6:00 p.m.
