Photography by Steven Gnam, paired with maps, explores the surprising connections between culture, history, communities and the great outdoors in one of the world’s most majestic regions. Gnam, whose work captures the essence of wild landscapes, published his first book in 2014. The exhibit, which continues through Jan. 18, is a continuation of the museum’s Wildlife Art Initiative. Ongoing displays include “The Bison: American Icon, Heart of Plains Indian Culture,” The Browning Firearms Collection and the Charles M. Russell Collection.
