This folk artist, who produced the No. 1 folk album of 2014, is one of the freshest voices in roots music. Touring to promote her new CD project and PBS special, Robinson’s concert will include music from the Revolutionary War to the present, interwoven with generations of letters, stories and poetry from her rural Alabama family. This show, which features two-time Grammy winner Ramblin’ Jack Elliott, is critically acclaimed for lush vocals, hot band, vintage music, and artisan stories.
