Montana State University will hold a series of events celebrating faculty on Tuesday, Jan. 13. All are invited to attend the events, which include Spring Convocation, a Convocation Colloquium, and the MSU Library Open House.
Winners of MSU's annual faculty awards will be announced at Spring Convocation, set for 9:30 a.m. in Reynolds Recital Hall. The annual awards honor achievements in faculty research, teaching, outreach and creative projects. A reception will be held prior to the ceremony, beginning at 9 a.m.
MSU Associate Provost for International Programs David Di Maria will be the featured speaker at a Convocation Colloquium, set for 3 p.m. in Reynolds Recital Hall. Di Maria will present "Internalization and Globalization of Higher Education: Trends, Challenges and Opportunities." As part of the colloquium, a reception will be held at 2:30 p.m. in the lobby of Reynolds Recital Hall.
Finally, all are invited to attend the MSU Library Open House: Call of the Wild, set for 4-6 p.m. in the library. At the event, MSU faculty, staff, graduate students and friends are invited to learn about the library's digital and print collections and explore new services, spaces and resources.
