Mineral County provides an old-fashioned country fair with lots of cowboy spirit and homespun charm. This fair features photography & quilt shows and argricultural exhibits abound with locals displaying their talents, green thumbs, and individuality. The excitement continues with the NRA-sanctioned evening rodeos for westerners (including wild cow milking!), plus shows and livestock competition for the ‘kid' in us all.
Located along the banks of the Clark Fork River and in close proximity to whitewater rafting and fishing opportunities, the Mineral County Fair is the place to be in August.
Haven't heard of wild cow milking? Check out this video from the 2011 Mineral County Fair!
