This annual event is held in downtown Manhattan in conjunction with the Manhattan Potato Festival. Car show registration is from 9-10:30 am, at the corner of Railroad Avenue and North Broadway and Parade starts at 11:00am.

In 1950 seed potato farming was started in the farms around Manhattan. Over the years, seed potato farming has grown significantly and become one of our major agricultural products. The local farmers sell their potatoes to the community and ship their potatoes around the country. Thanks to the efforts of our local farmers, Manhattan, Amsterdam, and Churchill areas have become the potato capital of Montana.

The festival has evolved into an event beginning with a Fireman's breakfast and includes a parade, a car show and a great children's area. The festival still includes lots of food, activities and music. Over the years, the raffle has expanded from three prizes to approximately 100 all of which are donated from area businesses. Our booth rental is exceeding 100 and growing which makes us one of the largest festivals in the state. It is attended by approximately 5,000 festival goers.
