The Lincoln County Fair is the official Fair for the county. Operated under the auspices of the County Commissioners for the primary purpose of education, the fair encourages the people of Lincoln County towards raising better farm and garden products. Although entertainment is provided to attract attention and attendance, the Fair is educational in all its various divisions. School exhibits, club booths, commercial exhibits, along with federal, state and county exhibits all have their part in the educational value of the Fair. By offering many premiums in all phases of 4-H and youth work, the Fair aids materially in encouraging participation this valuable training for our county’s youth. Known as a place to meet old friends and to make new ones, the Lincoln County Fair has been a long standing tradition in Lincoln County since its incorporation in 1909. The Fair hosts hundreds of fair exhibitors who compete in various 4-H, agricultural and domestic divisions, showcasing Lincoln County’s best craftsmanship, animals, vegetables, plants and flowers. County residents, young and old, bring their best to the fair in an effort to win that blue ribbon. 4-H members complete their projects for the year with their fair exhibits, livestock, horse and dog shows, and market livestock sale.

Kidsville (kids carnival) offers youth an opportunity to challenge themselves and their friends to various games of skill, win prizes, and to just have fun. New this year, a mechanical bull will let riders of all ages to try for those ‘8 seconds’ of glory.  Extreme thrill rides like the human gyroscope and the fly high bungee trampoline are two favorites that come back each year. Midway style games, Clowns, Face Painters and Train Rides all keep the kids busy and entertained.

Friday is Family Day with Co-op Day bucket rides during the day, Friday Night at the Games in the Rodeo Arena at 7pm providing good old fashioned family fun, and the Family Dance in the Pavilion at the Fish Pond & Park following the games. Local talent, on the Food Court Stage offers a variety of amazing entertainment that appeals all ages while fairgoers partake of some of the best “fair food” to be found anywhere by local non-profit organizations throughout the fair.

Don’t miss the Annual Karaoke Challenge where everyone is a winner on Saturday from noon to 3:00 p.m. Bull Riders from all over the country come to Eureka, Montana to compete in the annual “Bull Thing” held on Saturday night at 7 p.m. Bull Rider “wanna be’s” can try their hand at riding a Mechanical Bull at the Arena Saturday night.
