High Winds Youth Rodeo Club (FYRA) is a non-profit youth rodeo organization. Our vision is to be the best sanctioned Junior Rodeo Association in Montana. Our association is built on integrity, honesty and dedication. We affirmatively promote, preserve and protect the safety of our participants, volunteers, staff and livestock. We foster sportsmanship, leadership and professionalism in our youth. We are dedicated in teaching cultural awareness and diversity, self-worth and self-esteem while providing wholesome family entertainment.
High Winds Rodeo Club has three age divisions that are determined by the age of the competitor : PeeWee is up to age 8, Junior is age 9 – 13, and Seniors are from ages 14 – 18. The youth competitors will compete in 6 rodeos yearly and the events they can enter in are based on the events in the individual divisions which can be seen on the Events Page.
The High Winds Youth Rodeo Club will have trophy saddles for PeeWee and Junior ALL AROUND )boys & girls combined) and Seniors will have trophy saddles offered for the boys & girls separately. In order to be eligable for year-end awards, the competitiors must enter 4 of the 6 rodeos. Similarily, the competitors must compete in 4 out of the 6 runs in any event to be eligible for that event.
