The Freedom Run/Walk is a great event to kickstart our Independence Day festivities before the town parade! It's a fun event for all ages! Families and friends gather at Brookies Cookies for the start of the run/walk and head out along the beautiful and scenic Swan River Nature Trail. We hire Competitive Timing for our start and finish line and is found right in front of Brookies Cookies. At the finish line everyone enjoys original Brookies Cookies and medals! If you would like to be a part of the Freedom Run and not interested in the walk/run we'd greatly appreciate your energy and help make the event a well oiled machine, we welcome you to visit the Volunteer page on the tab to the right and sign up! Grateful Nation Montana provides tutoring, mentoring and a full ride scholarship to any post secondary school in the state of Montana for the children of our fallen Iraq and Afghanistan soldiers.
