Gran Fondo Kootenai Bike Ride -- EUREKA -- June 26th - 28th

Gran Fondo Kootenai is a 30 mile Friday afternoon ride followed by a full 2-day, timed, supported bicycle ride through stunning views of mountains and valleys in the remote corner of Northwest Montana. You will pedal through the scenic byways hugging the shadows of the Cabinet Mountains, ride along majestic Lake Koocanusa, and conquer a challenging ride through the Yaak River Valley. Proceeds from the event benefit the Libby Kiwanis Koats-4- Kids program, the Eureka Lions Den Booster Club and the Tobacco Valley Special Olympics. Schedule of Events: Friday, June 26, 2015 - 30 mile fun ride up Farm to Market Road. Meet at Fireman's Park at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 27, 2015 - Libby to Eureka, 76 miles. Registration 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. Check-in/gear drop-off 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. Start 9:00 a.m. Dinner 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, June 28, 2015 - Eureka to Libby, 98 miles. Breakfast 6:00 to 7:30 a.m. Check-in/gear drop-off 7:00 to 7:45 a.m. Start 8:00 a.m. Post-ride celebration 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. Entry Fees: $150 for on-line registration though June 15. $175 for on-line registration from June 16-June 24. $200 for on- site registration (cash/checks only). Registration is limited to 100 participants.
