Dance, music workshops and fiddle jams are part of the sixth annual event. At 1 p.m., Mark Matthews presents a session, “Swinging through History,” that introduces the English country dance, French Quadrille and Kentucky running set - all of which played a major role in the evolution of the American western square dance. He leads a family workshop in the church fellowship hall at 3 p.m. Everyone is invited to dress up in Halloween costumes. Open mic is 2-5 p.m. at the Historic Boulder Methodist Church. Concert in the church featuring Marg Liedle and Classic Country and Junk Man’s Choir is at 6 p.m. Music and fun will continue with a Halloween Dance at Boulder Hot Springs 8-11 p.m., called by Mark Matthews with music provided by Marg Liedle and Classic Country.
