"Tie One On!" The 12th annual Madison River Foundation's "Ennis on the Madison Fly Fishing Festival" will be held Labor Day weekend, August 29-30, 2014. The festival celebrating all things fly fishing is held in Peter T's Park on Main Street in Ennis, just steps from the legendary Madison River. The festival features such nationally known fly fishing experts as Craig Mathews, Mike Lawson, Bob Jacklin, John Juracek, Tim Tollett, Bruce Richard and others. Fly tying seminars, fly casting clinics and competitions, tackle dealers and exhibitors, angling art, and a kids program -- you can find them all at the festival. Also featured is a huge raffle of top-of-the-line fishing tackle, rods, reels, guided trips, artworks and more. A gala BBQ rib dinner at 6 pm Saturday evening features live music and drawing of the winning ticket for a brand new, 16-foot, fully equipped 2014 ClackaCraft drift boat & trailer.
