Bandleader Stefan Stern is the glue of Lester Rocks. Playing Stern’s original compositions, the group blends musical genres to create their own unique sound. As Rachel Hergett of the Bozeman Daily Chronicle put it, “Lester Rocks isn’t a blues show or a rock show. It’s a Lester Rocks show, filled with gut-busting humor and a genuine love of music”. Stern, who plays piano and sings lead vocals, is backed by Krista Barnett and Jeni Fleming on vocals, Adam Greenberg on drums, and Jake Fleming on bass.
