WMPAC commissioned the Montana composer Philip Aaberg to compose a new piece of music dedicated to the Warren Miller Performing Arts Center and Big Sky. After contemplating what it means to live in Montana in the 21st century, Mr. Aaberg produced his piece, “Winter Sun.” Other performers on the program include Angella Ahn, Darol Anger and Mike Reynolds; the overarching theme for the evening is “The Modern Montanan.” Classical selections and Bluegrass unite with the fiddle, the violin, the piano, and the cello like you’ve never seen before.
The event will be held at the Warren Miler Performing Arts Center in Big, Sky Montana. Doors open at 6:30 PM.
