In the dry hot summer of 1988, a young woman moves with her boyfriend to a Saskatchewan farm. After months of unrelenting heat, dust and endless complaints, she makes a public promise: If only the drought will break, she’ll run naked through the streets of town. Too bad the newspaper man overheard.
