Yellowstone Ballet Company (YBC) celebrates its 29th season with a spectacular community collaboration of The Nutcracker.  Award-winning choreographer and YBC’s Artistic Director for 29 years, Kathleen Rakela creatively intertwines talented dancers and choreographers from Gallatin, Park, and Meagher counties and Yellowstone National Park, including Raison D’être Dance Project, Bozeman Dance Academy, and Martinsdale Ballet.  Performances take place at 4:30pm on Saturday, December 15th and 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 16th at the Willson Auditorium in Bozeman.

To encourage families to attend the Bozeman Community Nutcracker, YBC is offering a FREE child ticket with every adult ticket purchase. During the intermission of both performances, there will be a Nutcracker costume contest! Children come dressed as Clara, the Nutcracker Prince, the Sugar Plum Fairy or any other Nutcracker character. Prizes for best costume will be presented at each show along with a free gift for every child in attendance.
