From the epic to the mysterious, the symphony’s 63rd season premiere brings the silver screen to the concert hall. The concert begins with the dizzying whirlwind that is Herrmann's "Vertigo Suite," followed by Korngold's return to orchestral composing with his "Violin Concerto." The concert ends in the stars with the infamous legends of Greek astrology in Holst's “Planets.”
