Mountain Time Arts (MTA) presents:

Adam Sings In The Timber, “Indigenizing Colonized Spaces”

Saturday, July 20th, 2019

Story Mill Community Park, Bozeman, MT

Mountain Time Arts (MTA) is pleased to present a new public art project by photographer Adam Sings In The TimberApsáalooke/Crow. This project is part of Sings In The Timber's “Indigenizing Colonized Spaces” series in which the artist constructs color portraits of Indigenous women wearing traditional regalia in urban settings. The women are descendants of tribes that originally lived here, and the portraits signal to the viewer that wherever we are in the Americas, we are on Native land. The photo installation will be in Bozeman's new Story Mill Community Park for the park's Grand Opening on Saturday, July 20th.
